Nazif Lopulissa

Lopulissa onderzoekt verbanden tussen vorm, ontwerp, toepassing en intentie, en hoe deze leiden tot betekenis. Nazif Lopulissa woont en werk in Rotterdam. Lopulissa heeft gepresenteerd in onder andere de Kunsthal, het Moluks Historisch Museum, de Westergasfabriek en tijdens Art Rotterdam. In 2022 won Nazif Lopulissa de Wolvecampprijs 2022. In het jury rapport ging de jury in op het hoe en waarom van de keuze voor de jonge winnaar. „Vrolijk, kleurrijk, speels, als een magneet trekt het werk van Nazif Lopulissa je oog. Like the suitcase that was always packed at his Moluccan grandparents' house in case they were deported, the installation contains many objects that contain both tangible and intangible necessities for the artist, ready to be transported and used at any time. be rearranged. The work can be read as a wunderkammer, a reflection on the practice of the maker by applying new rules.
