Gqunta’s installatie toont ons een rivierbedding of een bed, plekken van rust en bezinning. Echter maakt de verwering van het staal onveiligheid en geweld invoelbaar. Natuur en thuis zijn niet alleen plekken voor rust en geborgenheid, maar ook van strijd en trauma.
Gqunta's installation could be a riverbed or a bed, both places of rest and reflection. However, the weathering of the steel makes insecurity and violence tangible. Nature and home are not only places for peace and security, but also for struggles and trauma.
